i forgot to mention last time that i watched ds9 yesterday, and it was the ep where they try to get the romulans to join them against the dominion by means of a forged holorecording. i adore that ep. i was just thinking about it recently, and when i got up and caught a glimse of the tv, i though 'that's that ep, isn't it?' well, it was. my subconscious must've had it stored in my memory, for me to recognize it right away from that little glimse.
it's such a dark, amazing episode.
ah. it's called "in the pale moonlight."

and the other day the ds9 ep was "wrongs darker than death or night," which is the one where kira travels back in time to see if her mother really was a 'comfort woman.'
that's also fucking awesome and dark. and dukat *seemed* so nice and normal back then.
of course, his relationship with kira's mother makes the fact that he's after kira now even creepier.
cardassians must live longer than humans.


i LOVE how dark ds9 got in the later seasons. fucking *awesome*.
